On Thursday, March 19 the Mountain Lake Public School Band traveled to Madelia High School for the MSHSL Large Group Contest. The fifty-six member band played two pieces: Reflections by Cait Nishimura and Moscow, 1941 by Brian Balmages. The band earned Superior ratings from each of the three judges. Two students, Melbin Felix Coronado and Andrea Peterson, stayed into the evening for the Subsection Honor Band. Congratulations to the MLHS Band on a great performance!
