Mountain Lake Public Schools

The 13th Annual MLES Fur Trade Rendezvous was a huge success! Besides singing this year’s version of Allouette and enjoying delicious portions of rubbaboo, pork and peas, pemmican, wild rice and maple sugar, and corn and bear grease, we competed hard in leg wrestling, tug-o-war, and canoe races. It was so much fun to see many of our parents dress up and get involved, as well. The parent team defeated our students in the inaugural grudge match tug-o-war this year! We always enjoy making history come to life!!!
