On Thursday, March 20, The Mountain Lake Public School Band traveled to Granada, MN to compete in their annual Large Group Contest which is sponsored by MSHSL. Their performance was heard by three judges and rated on categories like intonation, tone quality and musicianship. The band was excited to earn three superiors for an overall superior performance. Congratulations!
Additionally, three senior high band members joined forces with other area high school musicians to form the subsection Honor Band. Paige McMullen, Brie Anacker and Braxton Tollefson joined nearly 60 other band students to rehearse with Michael Thursby from MSU and presented a fantastic program in Granada, MN.
